Advanced UV and
Glare Protection

KODAK Total Blue® Lens delivers comfortable vision indoors and outdoors

KODAK Total Blue Lens with Color Guard Lens Technology™ is a hybrid of special formulated lenses and unique coating that blocks damaging UV rays and filters bright blue-violet wavelengths while allowing beneficial blue light to maintain color vision.

Outdoors, wearers experience comfortable viewing with reduced glare and reflections while being protected from UV radiation. Indoors, KODAK Total Blue Lens reduces reflections and bright glare from device/monitor screens and indoor lighting.

No matter where you go, KODAK Total Blue Lens keeps your vision clear, comfortable and relaxed.

UV Protection and Blue-Violet Light Filtering

KODAK Total Blue Lens offers your eyes 100% protection from UV rays and filters blue-violet light, decreasing the risk associated with long-term exposure to UV and discomfort of bright glare.

While filtering out blue-violet light, KODAK Total Blue Lens allows low energy blue light– which is essential for true color perception to pass through to the eye.

If your day includes continuous exposure to UV and bright blue-violet light sources, KODAK Total Blue Lens is the choice for you.

What is Blue-Violet Light?

Blue-violet light has been in the news a lot recently. If you’re like most people, you are viewing bright device screens and monitors on a daily basis. Add in your time in the sun which is the most intense, as well as work under fluorescent lights, and you might be dealing with overexposure to bright blue-violet light – more specifically – wavelengths between 400-455nm. This could lead to visual discomfort and potentially impact your sleep cycle.
